1. Stop using a birth control pill

The first thing you want to do if you want to have a baby is to stop using a birth control pill.

Most birth control pills contain both the estrogen and progesterone hormone which prevents ovulation from taken place. The truth is a woman cannot get pregnant if she doesn't ovulate.

2. Have a preconception checkup

Smoking destroys​ the cells and organs of the body. It also causes genetic problems, ovulation problems, miscarriages and a high risk of having cancer.

Premature menopause is also caused by smoking. Women who have partners that smoke may find it difficult to stop.
